…tion that nothing is the same this year, I am able to let go and see it as a beautiful reminder that I am not in control and that if I allow for spaciousness around the idea of traditions, I can experience a great sense of grace and effortless ease, as all things unfolding perfectly (even if it is not how I imagined or expected). This perspective, along with that willingness to let go of tradition, allows us to stay present with not only what is but also with our desires and needs as they are today. We can shift from the comfort of structure and rigidity to feeling and listening to what is present and how we want to be in relationship with what is present. We can practice appreciation for what shows up, centering ourselves in understanding and accepting our lives.
